Configurator

Creation of a new configurator for Stadtwerke Bad Hernfeld with the aim of providing a suitable offer of a charging station with accessories based on the user's needs.

About the Project
To provide an individual offer for a charging station, it needs some information from the user. For this purpose, a configurator was created that queries the required components, omits irrelevant questions based on the answers given, and in the end offers a product tailored to the user and his or her needs that the user can purchase directly or arrange another consultation appointment.

Procedure
The challenge of the project was to show the possible ways and exclusion criteria for answers on the basis of an information architecture and to offer the user a simple selection of answers. The answer options were designed with variety and gameification in mind to provide a playful experience. The Atomic Design principle was used to create a consistent design. Main focus was on desktop, tablet and mobile were also considered.
